How We House is a new mini-series brought to you by the California Council of Architectural Component Executives (CA CACE). Beginning in August, this series will focus on California’s housing crisis, its impact on different regions across the state, and the local design approach to provide housing solutions.

This presentation will provide context on the severity of the housing crises within the Long Beach and South Bay region and explore creative approaches to addressing it. Solutions will be shared from various perspectives, including the City of Long Beach, developer Waterford Property Company and architect Studio One Eleven. The focus will include how these developments can provide community benefits, challenges, and opportunities.
