SUMMARY:SoCal NOMA: Summer Architecture Camp for Kids
DESCRIPTION:Saturdays: July 13\, 20\, 27\, and August 3\, 9 am – 5 pm \n\n\n\nREGISTER \n\n\n\nThe 2024 SUMMER CAMP is in it’s 15th year! \n\n\n\nSoCal NOMA Architecture Summer Camp will be held in person: July 13th\, 20th\, 27th\, and August 3rd\, 2024.  In 2023\, we successfully hosted 180 students and this year’s goal is to host 200 students. Our camp curriculum will include drawing and model building workshops & activities\, a design project\, field trips\, and group presentations. \n\n\n\n60% of our campers are inner-city youth with very limited access to resources like transportation\, the internet and personal laptops. Your VITAL contribution will assist in providing resources to students who most need them! During these times of uncertainty\, the divide between students with and without opportunities widens. Join our team of passionate mentors and volunteers to deliver an amazing camp by sponsoring a camper. Together\, we can continue our efforts to expose youth to the profession\, empower them with the tools to make a difference in their community\, and expand all of our understanding of the built environment. \n\n\n\nREGISTRATION IS CLOSING SOON!   https://socalnoma.breezechms.com/form/91f2b64679336746  Thank you in advance for sharing the camp information with your network of parents\, potential campers and administrators.  See attached information and visit our website www.socalnoma.org    \n\n\n\nDownload Camp Flyer \n\n\n\nSPONSOR A CAMPER!  https://socalnoma.breezechms.com/form/b8102760  Thank you in advance for your support in making this the best camp ever. \n\n\n\n2024 Project Pipeline Summer Camp Information: \n\n\n\n CAMP DEMOGRAPHICS: \n\n\n\nAges: 10 – 18 \n\n\n\nIntroductory & Advanced Classes for middle school campers \n\n\n\nArchitectural Boot Camp for high school campers \n\n\n\nCLASSROOM: \n\n\n\nCAMP SESSIONS \n\n\n\n Workshops & Activities \n\n\n\nBuilding & Office Tours \n\n\n\nFor more information email admin@socalnomacamp.org
