
Leticia Mimila, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP, received a Bachelor of Architecture from California Polytechnic State University, Pomona, including a year abroad in Florence, Italy. She has over fifteen years of architectural experience working on various projects, such as commercial, workplace, adaptive/re-use, mix-use, and housing. She has completed some notable projects: New Hope Bellflower Shelter, Naples Center, Belmont Point, Long Beach Police, East Division & Juvenile Investigations, and ECAM Secure|CPS Security headquarters. Leticia is currently a project manager with LPA Inc., where she works with the commercial studio changing lives by design.
She also gives back to the profession with her continued support to the California Architects Board as a subject matter expert. She assists in the development, maintenance, administration, validation, and occupational analysis of the architectural licensing examination. She is also on the Jordan High School ACE Advisory Board. She currently resides in Long Beach with her husband, son, and two dogs. When she’s not working and spending time with her family, she loves to run. She has done several marathons and triathlon events.
