Architectural Staff Level II

Architectural Staff Level II (Non-Licensed) Salary ranges between $65,000-$85,000 annually

  • Typically, 6 years or more of professional experience.
  • Assists project teams and other staff members as requested and required.
  • Works directly with Consultants and Houston/Tyner Senior Staff.
  • Responsible for specific technical design aspects of an assigned project, including investigation, evaluation, and recommendation of design solutions that best meet the project’s needs.
  • Must be competent in the planning, design, and coordination of moderate sized projects.
  • Independently applies architectural concepts and designs.
  • Has the ability to carry out moderately complex or novel assignments.
  • Can provide quality control of their work and deliver to senior staff drawings that have a minimal amount of errors including zero careless mistakes.
  • Provides limited assistance with Construction Administration.
  • Assists project teams and other staff members as requested and required.
  • Provides technical guidance to less experienced architectural staff.
  • Demonstrates moderate understanding of the California Building Code, International Building Code, ANSI, Health codes, and the American with Disabilities Act
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu, SketchUp, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Cloud Suite programs, etc.
