Architecture/Drafting Advisory Committee

Long Beach City College is looking for industry professionals to help inform the Architecture/Drafting education programs as they redevelop and relaunch them.

The Industry Advisory Committee provides critical feedback on proposed degrees, certificates, and courses to insure that our curriculum will prepare students to meet the needs of industry, and to help guide our next steps.

Each meeting is between 1.5 and 2 hours, and they are held annually to approve new curriculum and programs, and to solicit feedback on where they should focus next.

Industry representatives, regardless of participation in the Advisory Committee, can also connect with LBCC to engage our students in internships or employment. They also offer the opportunity to come into classrooms to speak to our students about the industry and your company, or even for classes to come visit your business site for informational tours.  Please email Dana Friez at dfriez@lbcc.edu for more information and to be invited to the upcoming Zoom meeting scheduled for November 2.
