Meet Patsy Del Angel, a new member to our chapter who is currently working as a Designer for MTR Construction, a local Design-Build firm that specializes in residential remodeling and construction. In her four years in this industry, Patsy says she has learned that every project—no matter the size—is an opportunity to produce a dream, provide a skill, and grow as a professional. After six months as an Associate member, Patsy says she is thrilled to be part of such an amazing and inspirational chapter, and is inspired to provide her own contributions to this wonderful community.
As a Designer, Patsy believes it is our responsibility to craft environments that support our community’s social, economical, and sustainable future. In her journey in the profession, she aims to meet this responsibility by working on adaptive re-use projects. Adaptive re-use, she says, “is a testament of repurposing existing buildings for viable new uses and modern functions without having to sacrifice style or design, and with my experience in remodeling and passion for preservation, I know I will get there.”
We look forward to connecting further with Patsy and fellow chapter members to share stories about the unique challenges we all face in the profession.
